I spent my formative years in Wyoming, many of them working in the Bridger Wilderness. Those years were more than just a job; they shaped who I am. I learned about small-town life, where neighbors knew each other by name, where everyone looked after one another, and where a person's word still meant something. In those communities, I witnessed firsthand that there are good people in the world who genuinely care for and look out for each other, not because they have to, but because that's simply how things are done.The bonds I saw in those Wyoming towns stayed with me. People helped each other through hard times, celebrated together during good times, and showed up when it mattered most. That sense of community and shared responsibility has become the foundation of how I view the world.I am now living in Florida, where the weather is much kinder to my joints and aging body. I write to share the values and sense of community I learned in those Wyoming years. My stories celebrate the connection, loyalty, and integrity that still exist when people choose to honor their commitments and care for their neighbors. I believe these values are worth preserving and sharing, especially in a world that sometimes seems to be forgetting them.
